The Centerville-Washington Township community is invited to enjoy a fun-filled day at the Cruise-In to the Ice Cream Social from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 10 at the Washington Township RecPlex, 895 Miamisburg-Centerville Road. The event takes place rain or shine.
This annual family-friendly event features classic cars, games, complimentary hot dogs and hamburgers, and free ice cream. The RecPlex will be open so families can enjoy free open swim, open gym, and rock climbing. Annual favorites also include painting a fire truck, shooting water at a pretend fire, and meeting Sparky the fire dog.
All makes and models of cars and hotrods will cruise the grounds and be displayed, and visitors can explore police, fire, and SWAT vehicles. Although the Cruise-In is not a formal car show, People’s Choice trophies will be presented to three vehicles, and the first 100 registrants will receive a swag bag.
