Public Education Specialist 

The Washington Township Fire Department is recruiting an energetic and motivated Public Education Specialist. The ideal candidate has experience in fire safety and/or public education. Under the direction of the Deputy Fire Chief, the Public Education Specialist develops and manages the public education programs for all ages within Washington Township, demonstrates firefighting gear, speaks to community groups, teaches CPR, first aid, and fire extinguisher use, and is the department’s liaison to the Township’s educational institutions. Service Worker I

Public Works Department

The Washington Township Public Works Department is recruiting one driven and energetic Service Worker I to perform physical work to construct and maintain rights of way and infrastructure. Working mostly outdoors, the Service Worker I drives dump trucks and leaf collection equipment, cleans and repairs catch basins, and works on asphalt and concrete repairs. The Public Works Department has an open recruitment for seasonal help during summer and fall!
